The last few years have seen a growing number of startups launch in the Femtech space.

In 2019 the category raised nearly $750 million in funding. 

Today it’s estimated that there are 200 Femtech startups worldwide, 92% of which are founded and led by women.

The boom has been driven by increased accessibility of tech to women as employers and consumers.

Accelerator programmes, investment funds and angel groups have been setup and major FMCG and pharma brands are watching the sector closely.

And as more startups launch around the world, Femtech is predicted to be worth $50 billion by 2025.
